I am running minecraft technic pack, a tekkit server, skype, and my computer plays fine. But as soon as i start recording with fraps my minecraft lags like crazy. How can i fix this?

How many cores does your CPU have, especially if trying to run client and server on same computer? The minecraft client usually runs one core at 100%, but I think the server is multithreaded. But if you are trying to run client, server, and fraps on one computer with only 2 cores, it probably would bog down (maybe even if just running client and fraps with 2 cores, because it also needs to write to hard drive).
