Any possible way to get a Minecraft account without buying a new game?

My brother bought minecraft on the computer that we shared. He got a new computer a little later, and played minecraft on his computer. I started playing minecraft offline. I was playing without an account then I decided to make one. I created a majong account, but that wasn't a minecraft account, so I can't change skins, play online with other people or anything special, except play on the offline games. So, I was wondering if there was any possible way to get a minecraft account without having to buy a whole new game?

Minecraft, as in the game it's self is free. What you buy is access to the authentication server ie. a premium account.
