Ok, so im thinking of getting minecraft on my computer but i dont know how good minecraft will run with it. Please help me out and tell me how good minecraft will run and on what settings. Computer specs- 5 gb Ram 500 gb HD Geforce 9600 GSO graphics card Phenom triple core processor. PLEASE HELP ME. Additional Details Will it run on normal, with fancy graphics and smooth lighting?

Yes I have a computer just like that and it runs with amazing speed. Except your computer is a bit higher than mine and my computer runs very fluent. So I can guarantee your computer will withstand minecraft's usage.

If your render distance is Normal it should run perfect. I've never heard of the Graphics card before though but it is Minecraft so it shouldn't matter.

Your computer has stats a bit higher than mine (5gb ram instead of 4) and minecraft runs pretty good on mine. It should run fine.
