PC for MC. MC is built for a Windows EXE file, so it would be natural to select the computer it was built for.
Well, I started a MineCraft world about three years ago and I'm still playing it (I mean, not nearly as often as I was, but you know, I still get on and build from time to time). In the time since I've started:
-I've built an elaborate mountain base stretching across three different peaks a good distance apart, with farms for animals, mobs (for their items), wheat, pumpkins, melons, etc. I have mines stretching for several kilometers (by MC standards) in all directions, most of which go completely to bedrock, complete with minecarts and the like
-I have a castle hub thingy built right in the middle of the base, a canal system designed to get me places quickly above ground, and a subway system with minecarts underground. Elevators take me up and down, as well.
- I built a cart path that led directly to a stronghold, which I raided, cleared of mobs, and established a base to go to the End at. My Nether Portal was lucky enough to spit me out close to a Nether Stronghold, so I have a Nether Base.
All of this spawned from me building a small hovel in the side of a mountain, and then a standard brick house after that. Once I built my Mob farm, I took all that cobblestone and built my castle. I found a lava lake underground and used the lava inside to farm cobblestone (with some help from automatic pistons), and once that was over, I built a whole bunch of these cobble farms with pistons and my 8-block-high walls were raised.in moments. Then I just sort of started adding some cool things to my base as I saw fit.

I have spent about 7 hours and 20 somthing minutes playing Minecraft straight, including restroom breaks, food, "eye" breaks and stretches. I have been playing on the same world since early beta but the longest world I have was right before 1.0. The second logest amount of time I have ever played straight was 1 hour and 47 minutes or so.

I suggest a PC for minecraft, them compatibility issues goes down the drain. except mods. oh and about 50 - 60 hours.

Without getting bored out of my "mine" (pun) and getting into loud laughter over how bad the graphics are? About....... 26 seconds.
