Im planning to make a minecraft channel and not sure what to use or where to start and what programs I should use as well as a few tips and tricks on what to do?
Ansver:
Depends. If you have a lot of money get Sony Vegas to edit. But of you dont start of by using iMovie or Windows Movie Maker,or EZvid,Btw dont use EZvid for recording. They may be bad but good for begginers. On recording if you're computer is just crap like 2GB RAM and like 250GB Harddrive get Bandicam. But if you have an average computer get DXTory. When I mean by average I mean like 1-2TB HardDrive and 4-8GB RAM.Ok If you have any thing better than those get Fraps. If you have any worse than average Fraps will like have random frame-drops and lag.
If you wanna be famous and become a youtube partner. This part takes ALOT of time. Many people give up on this part.If you wanna be a partner i guess that would take 2months minimum. If you wanna be famous that would take like 6 months LEAST usually it takes 1-2 years.Make sure you dont spam other people or else people would just go on your channel once then they USUALLY never come back.Make sure you have good content. When i mean by that you wanna know that if people would want to watch that stuff. They don't wanna see just you mining the whole time and talk about nothing. You wanna speed up or skip those parts. And i recommend you do more than just minecraft.Be a gaming channel not minecraft. Its a recommendation. And about partnership.Make sure you put non-copyrighted stuff.Like some songs playing in the background. If you do that your video will be deleted.I think you already know that. And btw i recommend you start when you hit puberty.Nobody wants to hear you with high voices.People will complain about that.If you want to make videos but you didnt hit puberty Just use text on the screen to talk or use notepad.Make sure you do more than 1 serie i recommend at least 3 series. When you become a partner monetize your videos.Monetizing means ads.Ads in your vids.Ads give you money.Btw 1000 views means $2.50USD if you use different kind of money use some translator thing.Once you become famous
If you cant decide on something ask your fans.Ask them for feedback if you have a new season or series.
Be funny.Watch yogscast, antvenom, captainsparklez, kurtjm… etc. Think of your own way of funny.Like put faces on cows.Put a joke on the screen.Whatever.
Sir/Mam that's all i know.Email me your username i wanna see how your channel goes.My channel is ColdBlocks.I really hope this helped you because it took 30mins to write all of this
P.S get good headphones and a mic Like Beats And blue yeti or something similar
----------------------------
you need, at the bare minimum, some technical prerequisites:
- a microphone
- a recording program
- a computer with enough power to run both minecraft and the recording program without lag
- a video editing program
sufficient knowledge of youtube requirements to create and upload a quality video
i won't give more detail about the software because you didn't say what operating system you're using and what your budget is; you can look that up on wikipedia, for example, which has lists and descriptions for everything.
now, to make the channel successful, more than software is required. you need an idea about what type of gameplay you'll be recording -- do you want to make a let's play? do you want to build amazing architecture? do you want to hack and slash your way through somebody's adventure map? do you want to make your own maps? do you want to highlight mods or texturepacks? show off other people's builds? teach people how to use redstone?
and no matter what you do, you need to be entertaining. that is probably the hardest part, even if you are naturally outgoing. practice will help -- start with recording yourself for just 10 minutes and play it back. you'll probably be amazed at how unnatural you sound, and how much "um" and "uh" and other filler you use instead of talking fluently. if you make an educational channel, you might want to write yourself a script and pre-build any mechanisms to make sure you know what's happening. if you make a let's play, set up save games so you can return to the start if you screw things up during your recording (and you will). enroll your friends to preview your videos, and ask them to be critical.
it's harder than it looks to make good videos, and the people who have tens of thousands of subscribers have all been at it for quite a while, and made their own mistakes. watch some of the really good ones and note down what they do that you like especially. you don't want to copy their gimmicks, but you can learn a lot.
good luck!

3. Good Mic
4. Good PC to run games smoothly
5. Good recorder (DxTORY)
6. Good editing software (Sony Vegas)
7. Unique content, no one wants another boring lets play, make a machinima, or story like Shadow of israphel
