What are the requirements to play minecraft?

I need to know what the requirements are. And if a mac mini would be ok to play minecraft on without it lagging or having trouble running the game. And if it would be powerfull enough to handle the game to. The mac mini that I want is on the apple website it cost 699.99 that has 2.4GHz: 320GB. And if not what would be a good laptop/desktop computer that is cheap and good to play minecraft on. Thanks for you're help!

i play on a macbook and its fine, a little laggy but over all good, a mac mini might be more or less depending on the RAM, and most laptops can take minecraft, so just find a good one

I play on a netbook with 1GB RAM and 1.6GHz Intel atom processor and it doesn't lag. If it lags, then just turn the graphics down and the render distance to small or tiny.
Minecraft is a great game I now have 1.6.6

I have a toshiba A40 laptop, with 490mb ram and minecraft runs really smooth even with far vision on, so a mac would be totally awesome to play minecraft on

If you have about 1 GB of RAM you should be fine. Have you seen minecraft? Obviously not the most demanding graphics. You'll be fine
