My minecraft always freezes after i played for a few seconds. Forcing me to just close it using task manager, since i can't press X on the screen. Can anybody tell me how to unfreeze this problem?

This is optimized for Windows 7.
First right click on your home page and click on Graphics Properties.
Then click on 3D and then on the slider bar put it on the Quality setting. For Windows xp go to acceleration and then also put the bar somewhere in the middle.
After that apply the settings and then launch minecraft.
If problem still persists try getting a new minecraf.jar by opening the launcher and then clicking on options and then clicking force update, then try launching minecraft.
If it still doesnt work try updating java by going to www.java.com and then gettinf the lates version of Java.
If it still wont launch you should try deleting some programs from your computer.
I think you can look that up. I hope you can fix your problem.
Minecraft is a very graphics light game so just upgrade your RAM and you should be fine
You should do what the two people above me have suggested. If that doesn't work, check out http://getminecraftforfree.org/help/ for help with lag/crashing issues.
Install Optifine (mod).
Allocate more memory (search online)
Revert to default texture pack.
